This Orange Popsicle / Orange Ice Pop is light, fruity, and feels just like eating an Orange in the form of a popsicle! This recipe makes 6 Orange Popsicles / Orange Ice Pops, and can be made easily. Well, I guess you can’t say no this time, because it takes just 15 minutes from start to finish to make (of course, you have to wait for it to freeze; which could easily take anywhere from 6 to 8 hours).
This is an easy recipe for Orange Popsicles / Orange Ice Pops that only takes a few minutes to prep and requires no cooking. Just blend all the ingredients together and pour into your popsicle mold or any cup. If you want the popsicles to be a little bit grainy, you can grate orange skin and add it to the orange juice and mix it rather than just using the juice.
Here is my another recipe with Mango as the prime ingredient: Mango Coconut Popsicles / Ice Pops

I have a bite-sized video to show you how to make this recipe.
Ingredients
- Small oranges – 10, peeled & segmented
- Ginger powder – 1 tsp (optional)
- Almond extract – ¼ tsp
- Sugar – ¾ Cup
- Water – 1 Cup
Instructions
- Take 10 small oranges (if using large oranges, take 5). Peel the orange and segment it.
- In a blender, take orange pieces and blend it until smooth.
- Take a bowl and place a strainer on top of the bowl.
- Pour the blended orange juice via the strainer.
- Once the juice has passed through, gather the sides of the strainer together and squeeze all of the juice out.
- Add ginger powder (this step is optional).
- Mix it well without lumps.
- Add water and almond extract.
- Mix it well.
- In a blender, add ¾ cup of sugar.
- Grind it into a fine powder.
- Add it to the orange juice and mix it well till there are no more lumps.
- Here I’ve used Popsicles mold. If you don’t have popsicles molds, you can use small cups to make it.
- Divide the juice mixture we made earlier evenly among the popsicle molds (or small cups).
- We need 6 wooden sticks to hold the ice pops and small pieces of Aluminium foils to hold the sticks straight while freezing.
- Wrap the popsicle molds (or small cups) with a piece of aluminum foil to hold the wooden sticks in place.
- Insert the wooden stick in the center all the way down (if you don’t insert the wooden stick all the down, it won’t be able hold the popsicle when you relish it).
- Place it in the freezer and let it freeze for about 6 – 8 hours or until it gets frozen.
- Take the frozen popsicle mold from the freezer. Take hot water in a cup (the cup should have enough space to dip the popsicle mold).
- Remove the aluminum foil and dip the mold into the hot water to pull them out easily (don’t dip it for more than 30 seconds as it may melt the popsicle).
Orange Popsicles / Orange Ice Pops is now ready to enjoy!!!
Notes
- If you don’t have Popsicle molds, you can use paper or steel cups.
- If you want the Popsicles to be a little bit grainy, you can grate orange skin and add it to the orange juice before transferring it to the popsicle mold.
